Growth by Design
2020
It Started in Maylands
Maylands Dental Centre marked the beginning of Trident as our first acquisition. The founding team tested their belief that great dentistry requires systems, culture, and purpose. This set the foundation, differentiating Trident from traditional corporate roll-ups.
Great dentistry requires more than skill—it demands systems, culture, and purpose.
2022
Karrinyup Joins the Family
Karrinyup Dental Centre became the second strategic acquisition, validating Trident’s model. The dental network tested whether Maylands’ systems and culture were replicable and scalable. This reinforced prioritising the patient experience, empowering clinicians, and intentional growth through careful collective building.
Careful collective building elevates care—not corporate roll-ups designed for rapid expansion.
2025
Genesis & Trident Are Born
In 2025, Genesis Dental Canning Vale joined, and Trident Dental Group was formally established. The vision crystallised as a three-practice network elevating care, culture, and community. The three-pronged approach was proven through patient prioritisation, clinician empowerment, and intentional growth.
Three clinics united to elevate care, culture, and community across Western Australia.

Life at Trident
Our Values in Action
Excellence Without Exception
Excellence Without Exception
Trident defines patient excellence through three dimensions. Consistency means reliably delivering high standards across all locations through unified systems and training. Quality encompasses clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices and continuous professional development combined with patient experience, so they feel heard, respected and safe. Value brings transparency in costs and clear communication about options.
This isn’t marketing language but operational standards embedded in Trident’s systems. This earns trust and delivers outcomes patients can count on. Systematic processes ensure every interaction meets high expectations, making excellence a standard practice.
Elevating Every Clinician
Elevating Every Clinician
Trident is built around clinician development rather than just productivity. This means structured mentorship programs with formal matching, clear goals, and dedicated coaching time. Culture provides psychological safety where you can speak up, ask questions, and admit mistakes. Collaboration across roles and clinical autonomy with a genuine governance voice are standard.
Transparent career progression includes dual pathways for Clinical Mastery or Practice Leadership. This differentiates Trident from traditional corporates. Clinicians aren’t resources to extract value from but professionals to invest in. Your growth matters as much as patient outcomes.
Built to Last, Built to Lead
Built to Last, Built to Lead
Trident’s organisational values aim for long-term sustainability and ethical leadership. Innovation means disciplined adoption of technologies and systems that demonstrably improve patient care. Good governance means ethical leadership with clear accountability, financial transparency, and values-grounded decisions. This counters corporate practices prioritising growth over ethics.
Impact means being a positive force through community health initiatives and environmental responsibility. We create value beyond financial returns. This earns our social licence to lead in healthcare. Genuine community engagement and sustainable practice benefit all stakeholders, building trust that extends beyond clinical outcomes.
