Ethos & Principles: Built on Integrity, Powered by People

Trident Dental Group is a new-age dental network built on design, integrity, and purpose rather than scale. We deliver exceptional patient care, empower clinicians, and create meaningful partnerships across Western Australia.
What Drives Us

Ethos & Principles

Integrity in Every Decision

Integrity forms the foundation of Trident Dental Group. We maintain ethical and transparent leadership, making decisions that are fair, just, and aligned with our core values. Our culture is shaped by a clear commitment to acting with integrity. This stands as the antidote to purpose drift seen in some dental network.

This commitment creates tangible outcomes for everyone we serve. Practice principals gain confidence through transparent partnership terms and clear processes. Clinicians benefit from consistent clinical standards, structured support, and the autonomy to make decisions in patients’ best interests. Patients trust that treatment recommendations are driven by clinical need, not quotas.

These principles create the foundation for long-term relationships built on mutual respect.

Patient-First Systems

Trident Dental Group approaches patient care through three dimensions. Consistency means reliably delivering high standards across all locations. Quality encompasses evidence-based clinical outcomes alongside experiences where patients feel heard, respected, and safe. Value represents transparency in pricing and clear communication about treatment options. These aren’t aspirations—they’re systematically designed elements defining how we deliver care daily.

Trident enables this excellence through comprehensive training for all team members and unified patient management platforms for seamless experiences. Evidence-based clinical protocols guide our care. We maintain a commitment to continuous professional development so teams stay current with advancements in dentistry. Technology enhances human care rather than replaces it. This “systematically excellent” approach delivers outcomes through robust, repeatable processes rather than individual heroics.

Clinician Support and Autonomy

Trident Dental Group provides structured clinician development through formal mentorship programs and transparent career progression frameworks. We create a culture of psychological safety where team members can ask questions without fear. Our dual pathway model includes Clinical Mastery for advancing technical skills and Practice Leadership for management aptitude. These are well-defined pathways with clear expectations—not vague promises about advancement opportunities.

Support takes tangible forms in daily practice. Clinicians receive one-on-one guidance on complex cases and monthly CPD lectures. They have access to modern technology and a genuine voice in clinical governance. Unlike traditional dental network, where recent graduates feel isolated, our clinicians receive mentorship and structured learning. Administrative relief frees clinicians from HR, bookkeeping, and compliance burdens, allowing them to focus on dentistry.

Community Contribution

Trident Dental Group is committed to being a positive force in Western Australian communities. For us, success extends beyond financial results to include community health initiatives, environmentally responsible operations, and contributions to societal well-being. This is part of our social licence to operate, an obligation that comes with serving communities, and we recognise that dental care plays a vital role in overall health and quality of life.

With this ethos, our commitment to helping those in need is embedded into the way we operate. Across our clinics, our teams regularly provide voluntary dental treatment for patients who may otherwise go without care. This is not occasional charity; it is a consistent, structured commitment that reflects who we are as a clinician-led, values-driven group.

Our Managing Director, Dr Jonathan Lo, is heavily involved with the Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF), serving as a board member and past WA Coordinator. ADHF exists to support people in need by facilitating pro bono dental care across the community, which aligns closely with how we see our role in the profession. Much of this work happens quietly, with little publicity and no expectation of recognition, because meaningful impact is measured in outcomes for patients: restoring comfort, function, and confidence.

Built to Last, Built to Lead

Trident Dental Group pursues growth through strategic design rather than growth-at-all-costs acquisitions. As a new-age dental network, we grow through intent, design, and integrity rather than solely through scale. We adopt technology and systems that support better care, operational efficiency, and clinician experience. Innovation serves as a tool, not a goal.

Sustainable growth creates benefits for all stakeholders. Practice owners gain partnerships that protect legacy whilst enabling expansion through capital access, operational support, and shared resources. Clinicians find stability and career longevity in a network designed to last decades. Patients maintain trusted relationships with community-focused clinics. Our vertical integration plans—including Trident Education and potential laboratory services—create defensible advantages.
